The Foamular Insulation plants are located in Tallmadge, OH; Rockford, IL; Gresham, OR; and Valleyfield, Quebec.

The Regional Process Engineer for Foamular Insulation assists all facilities with technical and business leadership in product manufacturing, quality control, and product specifications.
The Regional Process Engineer interfaces across the technical network in the Foam Business to provide solutions to product manufacturing challenges as well as advances and innovation in manufacturing processes and materials.
The position acts as the subject matter expert in the plant on all process, quality, and material areas.
As a member of the Foam NLT the position also coaches and advises production team(s) and is responsible for assisting the growth and development of all Engineers and Extruder Technicians in the plant(s).

Responsibilities:
Technical ExcellenceResponsible for driving excellent performance in all extrusion and downline processes Prove out all product capabilities and constantly drive for improvement in product characteristics, system capability, and consistency of results Establish repeatable recipes and settings for each productEstablish extruder start-up and shut-down processesDrive product changeover consistency and effectivenessInterface with Engineering and S&T to solve all product and material challengesConduct process improvement trials and incorporate learnings into technical improvement plansKeeps current in extrusion and materials science, and constantly searches for potential opportunities to improve in plant processes and materialsMetricsYieldDensityThroughputProduct QualityQuality ControlAct as the gatekeeper to ensure all quality control specifications are met for all productsKeep current on all QC specifications and act as the subject-matter expert for QC Educate all plant leadership and primary employees on quality control requirementsTrain all primary employees on QC procedures and processesInterface with Foam QC resources to ensure that the plant has adopted all current QC specifications.

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
Advanced degree in engineering preferred.
5 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
